Popped no where near 36". Uneven colouring.

Hi Catherine, sorry to hear this. Can I ask if you followed the instructions on sheet of paper we sent with the balloons?

As with all latex balloons, they need to be stretched out before inflation. Especially these large balloons.

Before inflating a latex balloon, stretch the latex with your hand. You can also use hot water or a hairdryer to warm it up and make it more pliable. This will reduce the chance of balloons popping prematurely.
